Fine Art
On May 5th at 3am a fire destroyed our studio and home in downtown Madison destroying nearly all of our artwork and supplies (along with a lot of other stuff). Consequently, I'm starting over as far as artwork listings go and compiling a brand new portfolio. As things expand, I'm preparing another body of work to exhibit in a few months but occasionally place work online here (It's clogged with Sunday Painters, but free to list stuff on and sell through, so I stash stuff there in between shows sometimes). Click on the paintings below to navigate to my online gallery listings. Also be sure to visit my blog for the latest details on new work and our studio.

All paintings are done with great attention to detail and quality there are no "rush" flaws in these paintings. Each one, especially the large ones, takes up to six weeks to complete. I work on hardboard with acrylic paint layered onto the support in thin glazes reminiscent of oil painting. I have very little tolerance for imperfection and each painting is truly a personal battle to make my creative vision reality with as high a degree of precision and accuracy as is attainable.
